Preparing your car
for winter

We want your cat to be in shape all the year. This is our little mission in the big world.
Therefore, we prepared a list of compulsory works for preparing your car for winter season. Check if you have already done and bought everything.

What to buy to be ready for everything:

Spade
Jumping wires
Scraper with Brush
Tow-rope
Anti Slip Chain/tire
Select
service
Have to be done:

Check the tension of the belts and the integrity of the branch-pipes. Belts and branch-pipes under the hood of the car are usually checked during adjustment (usually every 50,000 km). Low temperatures can loosen belts and branch-pipes and if something goes wrong during driving, you have to wait for the tow truck to continue. It is also important to check the tightness of the branch-pipes of the cooling system.

Diagnose the battery. The service life of the car battery is from 3 to 5 years. In winter it may be a weak link that will not allow the car to start. Therefore, it should be carefully checked and, if necessary, replaced.

Change the motor oil. The viscosity (thickness) of the oil has a significant effect on the operation of the engine. In winter, at low temperatures, the oil thickens, so it is necessary to use an oil with a lower viscosity. Synthetic oils are better lubricated, serve much longer, less prone to burnout and most importantly - are not able to freeze, at least in natural conditions.

Change tires. Slippery roads often cause serious accidents, so it is important to make sure that your tires are suitable for such weather. Summer tires significantly reduce traction, increasing the probability of drifting on a slippery road.

Anti-corrosion covering of the body. This will preserve the original appearance of your car, greatly delay the rust on the body and other issues associated with metal decay and damage to paintwork.

Complex diagnostics of suspension. Сhassis diagnostics is rather complicated, so better entrust it to specialists in the service stations. Frequent repairs of roads, ruts, potholes, macadam and other summer factors wear out the suspension elements. Do not want to lose the wheel on the road, right? :)

3-D Wheels angles setting. The car has the better course stability - the car will not wander, become more maneuverable and less prone to skidding. The correct parameters of the wheels angles setting saves fuel and increases tire life.

Replacement of illumination lamps. When driving on snow-covered roads, the optics are covered with a snow crust, limiting the visibility. Your car should be visible to all road users, it's your safety. Hundreds of accidents occur annually because of non-working lights.

Diagnostics of brake system. Check the brake system in order to stop in time :). In addition, diagnose the auxiliary systems ABS, ESP, ASD, ASC + T before cold weather.
